She was starting to relax while watching over him, keeping Casimir safe while he fed and thinking at the same time. Jess never got the chance to tell him that their relationship wouldn't suffer from his confession, that he was still her love no matter what. She felt the need to let him know, to make sure he didn't worry for a second. A soft laugh escaped her lips and she returned the kiss like her life depended on it, trying to put all of her feelings into that one gesture. Finally she could check her love for wounds and frowned as she noticed each little one even if they were healing already. He would be fine. She sighed and started to breathe normally again.
"I'm fine," she complained and pouted like a child. Not a moment ago she was giving him the same speech. Jess sighed and pushed him away gently, mumbling and muttering all the way to the men, drinking from the ones who were still alive and trying to hide how much she hated this, not wanting to make Casimir feel bad about anything. Then she returned to his arms and kissed his cheek, wanting to prove that she really was fine.

Casimir shrugged and laughed quietly at how stubborn his lover was. Her warm cheeks felt so good all of a sudden as he cuddled her close and started to kiss her softly and then deeply, the blood on her lips felt so good and added to the sensation and want. He picked up his deceptively small angel, nuzzling against her sweetly as he carried her to bed for "sleep" to test their slightly stronger vitalities, leading to the best hour of their time together thus far. He held his lover close and kissed her continually as his hands ran all over her body, she was his perfect soulmate and he was hers, that would never change.
The couple kissed each other lovingly as they embraced each other in adoration and fell asleep in each other's arms, safe and in complete love and respect of each other. Casimir dreamt peacefully for the first time in his life thus far and it was all because of Jess, he made a mental note to thank her as his dream fell around him. In his dream there was a dark gothic castle with just those two alone, him in a dark suit and Jess in a flowing white dress, both of them clutching a ring as they kissed and whispered the words "I do". Casimir never wanted to leave, his darling looked nowhere near as pretty in his dreams but she was his wife now, and he would swear to defend her, like he had the first night they met.

Maybe this time we'll get some peace, Jessica thought to herself, huddling against her Casimir as she wondered if she'd ever get used to being carried around like that. Probably not, but as long as he liked doing it she could put up with it. The gesture was cute, anyway. About one hour later they were laying in a bunch of clothes, cuddling when she realised that they'd probably be parents by now if it wasn't for their new nature. Vaguely she made a mental note to go back home the next night, wanting to check on their room and things. Plus, although she had a hard time admitting it, that place had really started to feel like home.
Their dreams were filled of each other and they both smiled in their sleep. She, too, slept better than she had for a very long time, exhausted and delighted at the same time. All through the day they lay there, only waking once the sun went down for the night. As soon as her eyes opened she sighed and cuddled him. Mine, she thought happily and kissed his cheek, then closed her eyes again and lay close to him.

Casimir yawned quietly and felt Jess' warm lips brush against his cheek when she kissed him, he played along with her little game for a while and pinned her playfully to the bed, kissing her deeply until she opened her eyes, then he pulled away, running his hands over her pale and soft flesh, well...soft by vampire standards. He licked her gently and then pulled away, looking at her endearingly as he licked his lips clean of her lipstick and smiled.
His hands ran over her again and he whispered "Mine" quietly in her ear, wanting to make her giggle as he felt the ring on her finger burn as if it had absorbed the sun's rays, his hands warmed to it as if there was a new link between them and he smiled, kissing the ring and whispering "I think I know what saved me" and he pressed the jewel between his heart and Jess' whispering "Can you feel it beating?" and smiled at her. He still felt like he was in the dream and eventually he sighed and dressed her, he knew she felt a little homesick and cuddled her close, her body feeling so delicate after feeding.

He looked like an angel when he was sleeping and Jess felt at peace with him. Their little game made her laugh as they both played along, the recent events of the past night forgotten, washed away by the light of the moon and starts like water passing on a river. Jess did giggle when he said exactly what she had thought moments earlier. Casimir never ceased to amaze her, from the big, important things he did to the smallest details of his actions. And it was true, she finally felt like she belonged to someone, somewhere, fact all the more surprising since she had never wanted it - more so, she had hated the thought. She realised how close they had been last night; if the hunters delayed even by a few minutes, the sun would have been up and they would have - no, she wasn't going to think about that.
"I can" came her answer along with a soft kiss and Jessica let him get them ready to go. While he was getting dressed she covered their tracks, arranged everything the way it had been before they came. No need to start any rumors, most people didn't know about vampires and there was no need for them to know anyway. "Want to bet I can make you the best coffee you've ever had?" she asked and smiled while they went out the door of the abandoned house, leading him back home, hand in hand.

Casimir playfully licked his lips and whispered "Okay I think that'll be fun", smiling sweetly at his lover as his hand crept round her waist as he leaned closer to her and kissed her softly. He sighed happily as they walked under the starlit sky and was incredibly lighthearted all of a sudden, Jess' arms were like a haven for him to hide away in and he smiled and bared his teeth. His lips travelled down Jess' smooth skin and he swore he felt her shiver, maybe he was more human after the feeding. He gently bit up and down Jess' arms making sure it was cute rather than painful as he made a fuss of his beloved.
The quiet night air wrapped around them tightly and the silence made for a huge excitement in his bones, his eyes glared lovingly and longingly into hers and he felt them connect on a plain far above that of physical contact, he felt her overwhelming love for him and it made him shiver, he could never match that he just wasn't capable but he loved the young lady in front of him with whatever he could. He moved back into her arms and kissed her deeply and passionately, the kiss lasting for a long long time, something he would treasure forever as the sea lapped quietly against the shoreline.

Jessica leaned into his embrace and smiled, cuddling him and laughing. "You don't trust my cooking skills, do you?" she half joked and pouted, pretending to be a little upset as they walked. In fact she was absolutely delighted to have his full attention. They looked exactly like what they were, if you went to the center of things: a pair of lovers enjoying each other in the moonlight, acting as if they were alone in the universe and couldn't care less if it was true or not. Love did that sometimes, when it was in its purest form and their was just that - pure, undiluted love, passion, everything they implied.
She felt everything he did to the point where she didn't know where her soul ended and his began, realising that she didn't care. They were two parts of a whole and that was all that mattered, there was nothing more important, he held her entire life in his loving hands. Jessica stopped as the kissed, the sound of the ocean joining in as she listened to their hearts beat as one, only making the moment even more special. She smiled when they finally pulled away and finished leading him home, making sure they were safe this time and going to start a bath. "You're going to go relax while I make us some food. Real food, not blood." With a gentle push and a quick kiss, Jess made her way to the kitchen.

Casimir smiled to himself but for a while he resisted the temptation of teasing his love. He got up and ignored Jess' plea for him to relax and snuck up on her as she cooked the smell filing his nostrils with a sweet scent much different to that of blood. His hands gently touched her hips and he kissed her softly on the cheek and neck, asking "How long will you be lover?" as his hands move down her arms and delicate little hands, she felt so precious and fragile in his arms. His lips travelled to her lips and he turned his angel around for split seconds as a time for them to kiss making sure Jess didn't get annoyed with him as he sighed and pulled away. Sitting down on a breakfast stool and watching his angel work, whispering that she looked very attractive all of a sudden, half expecting a slap.
His eyes followed every tiny and sublimely graceful movement of her body as she worked and he just couldn't resist following her around the room, she was becoming a drug that he was addicted to, an addiction he never wanted to break. He tapped and acted really agitated at the fact he had to restrain himself from just turning the oven off and whispering to Jess that she should come ot bed. He licked his lips a little in impatience and tried to find something to calm his sudden need for his love and sighed, resting his head on the table and humming quietly to himself, asking softly if Jess would miss him. Asking once again if she was ready, he draped his cape over her face and chuckled as he tried to toy with his lover.

It probably took a lot of effort to be still and Jessica appreciated his attempt. She smiled knowingly when she felt his presence behind her, glad he didn't surprise her this time even if she would have liked him to rest. He deserved to be spoiled and she would have been more than happy to do so. Jess realised she was cooking pasta and almost giggled when she remembered that he was Italian, but pushed that little coincidence aside. "As long as it takes," she answered playfully and put some sauce on his nose before he got a chance to escape. She barely resisted the growing urge to just forget about cooking and go to him but her mind was made up. He wasn't the only stubborn one there and this would be a nice experience, one she was sure he'd like as well. His remark made her blush and smile but also become very clumsy all of the sudden, so Jessica had to pay extra attention to every little detail.
Honestly, she didn't know what he saw in her, but you would never hear her complain. Jess giggled as Casimir acted like a child, she found this so cute she barely held back from turning and cuddling him. If she were to be honest with herself, she was a little grateful. Jess hated to be away from him, even when 'away' meant a few meters between them. Without knowing it, she was as addicted to him as he was to her. With titanic struggles she managed to finish the meal and put it away to cool down, walking to a different room and getting a bag while he played vampire at the table. Again she thought about how cute he was and smiled lovingly. As quickly as she could, Jessica scattered small candles all over the room and turned the lights off after setting the table. "I missed you now, too, if you must know," she whispered and put her arms around his neck, kissing his cheek. "Did you know that we've hardly had a real date until now?" she hinted with a smile, gesturing to the room and her preparations.

Casimir only glanced around the room before moving and cuddling his darling and whispering "Ahh my lover, this is very sweet" kissing all over her soft neck and running his hands over her again, she really deserved to be pampered after all the effort. His hands moved effortlessly to her shoulders and he massaged her until every drop of tension left her body, his lips brushed softly and tentatively over hers before they kissed passionately. He finally managed to pull away and he playfully licked his lips and took the sauce of his nose, she could be such a minx. His eyes rolled as he chuckled and whispered "Hmm pasta, how ironic" checking for any sign of a blush on Jess' pale cheeks as he sat back down and rested his hands on Jess' smooth and delicate skin.
He looked Jess directly in the eyes and whispered "Will you be mine my precious?" blowing her a kiss before making good on a silent promise, signalling with his eyes that he was going to make sure this little 'date' was unforgettable, he knew she wanted to do the same as he got up and served his beautiful Jessica, making sure she felt spoilt rotten as she deserved. He made sure they were both happy after their little dinner date and he playfully whispered "Come to bed in 10 minutes I'll be waiting" and he growled playfully, winking as he shot into bed and sighed happily, he could feel her choosing to follow.

Happiness, a pure and strong emotion was all she felt when she was sure that Casimir liked her idea. That alone was all the thanks she needed, but Jessica knew he enjoyed spoiling her, so she relaxed and accepted it much easier than she would have a while ago. Being with him was changing her and not in a bad way; or maybe it was just being around him, she didn't know. They had focused on spending every waking moment together since the moment they met, and yet it still felt like too little. She chuckled and kissed him when Casimir noticed the same thing she had. "Did I mention that I'm half French?" Jess asked randomly, holding his hand and enjoying his presence, the calming effect he had on her.
"I already am" she whispered back and sighed, losing herself in his eyes and not wanting to be found again. Jess held his hand while they ate, brushing her thumb against his fingers idly. She felt her cheeks turn red and giggled at his offer, deciding to clean up a little before she'd follow. After the longest ten minutes of her life finally passed, the kitchen was spotless and everything was in its rightful place. She was growing increasingly impatient but managed to look like she didn't have a care in the world as she walked into the bedroom and smiled.

Casimir smiled lovingly at his little Jessica and blew her a kiss as he beckoned her over, he felt like seducing his angel tonight and when she seemed to misunderstand he got out of bed and took her by the hand, stroking his hand all over the back of her own and holding her head softly with the other hand, leaving his lips millimetres from hers as he whispered "Come my Jessica, follow me into a pleasure you know you want to fall into, let it wrap round you my dear" and then he gave in and kissed her softly, their eyes meeting passionately in the middle of the kiss, their feelings being crossed immediately as his hands move to her neck and slowly down. He drew away and just stood caressing his fragile yet incredibly pretty lover as he blew her a kiss and whispered "English and French is a very strange mixture is it not?" and smiled until he got a little response of laughter from his soon to be wife. He gently pulled back to bed with his lover and sighed as they guided each other to bed.
His arms wrapped around her lovingly and they lay cuddling and kissing as his hands travelled all over her, he constantly called her his and never stopped, promising to never leave her side as they moved closer and closer in a cross of instinct and natural wants. Their bodies slowly began to entwine in a loving embrace as he closed his eyes and sighed, his hand brushing over Jess' engagement ring and felt the Ruby burn as if feeding passion to them both and he smiled, Jess would always be his and better, he would always be Jess'.

How could every little gesture of his send a shiver down her spine and make her forget about the world? Casimir reminded her of a woman she once met in this very city, Nevada her name was. Her image was still clear in the timid girl's mind, the way everyone's gaze went to her like bees to honey. But they were different. She irradiated her perfection for everyone, Casimir was hers and only hers and Jessica would never change that. Usually when Jessica started to really think about things, to mediate if you will, it ended up with her regretting the time invested in said act, along with a monster headache from trying not to think about certain things while still maintaining an open mind. Now she only felt happiness and peace. She liked the change a lot. All these and more were going through her mind as she lay in her love's arms, drawing hearts on his chest. Jessica didn't want to spoil the moment so she was almost perfectly silent, only answering his whispers and letting him know that she felt at least the same as he did.
Her gaze fell on the band around her finger and a smile crept to her lips. The ruby itself reminded her of Casimir in a way, the intensity, the way it would always shine through no matter what, the value. Jessica finally found a present she was sincerely glad she had received and it made her so happy. "What about we get married next spring?" she whispered, half immersed in thoughts.

Casimir chuckled sweetly and softly whispered "Is something wrong Jess dear?" and he kissed his lover softly again and and again, cuddling her in his arms and smiling sweetly. He sat up and felt Jess continue to doodle over his chest as he cradled her like a child, he adored her and that to him was the best gift he could give her. His fingers crept over her ring and he growled softly at her, the warmth sparked him again but he resisted the urge to drag his angel back to bed, he knew she had probably had enough of being kept in bed by him. He pulled away and just sat on a stool downstairs while he dressed, waiting for his beautiful lover to join him as he thought of their wedding again and enjoyed the idea, she just looked gorgeous in a shimmering black dress.
He sighed in contemplation and repeated Jess' words "What about we get married next spring" he muttered in a fake girly voice, he would have preferred it right now just in a private ceremony with Ivy and Ander, his eyes glanced up and his heart seemed to jolt as his beautiful flower slid gracefully down the banister of the stairs. Her hair flowed like water as she seemed to dance with every little step into his arms and he smelt her sweet perfume as he started to kiss her neck and cuddle her lovingly.

"Nothing," she answered honestly, smiling as she met his gaze and hugged him tightly. Nothing could ever be wrong now. Casimir was probably the only person she'd allow to treat her like a child, not to mention that she actually liked it, loved how safe he made her feel. Time seemed to hold still in the best way imaginable. Jess almost pouted when he left but managed to control herself and smiled instead, sitting up in the middle of their bed and watching him. Her prince charming, her guardian angel. It was silly how lost she felt when he was no longer in the room, as if she had lost the center of her universe, like a planet whose sun had disappeared out of view. For the first time she noticed what a mess the room was and almost laughed as she stood and tidied up a little, singing softly while she moved around and deciding to go for a simple look this time. Her usual jeans and a deep blue blouse would do, since he didn't seem to like it when she dressed up. Maybe it was better, it wouldn't take as long.
Jessica laughed quietly, catching his words as he fooled around and smiling to herself. He was so cute. She walked into view and her smile turned timid as soon as she met his eyes. Casimir was the one person she felt perfectly comfortable around, but also the one who could make her the most nervous in the butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of way. As soon as she felt his arms around her it was like she could breathe again. "I just thought of something, as random as it might be. If we do move out of here, would you like to live in a house or a flat?" She kissed his cheek and cuddled him while waiting for an answer.
